For anyone who didn't read it, a notice was posted here saying I would need to close the blog due to time constraints. But I'm looking for another solution - partnership! Or even better - a collective.

Pure Fiction, I know! I've gotten attached to. With Andre's help, maybe we can work something out.
Andre, you would be perfect!!!! Also, if someone else wants to step up, too, it could be a group or partnership thing.
But if Andre and/or anyone else want to take it over, I'd be happy to take a couple of weeks to make the transition, so it's not abrupt.
I love this community, and I would be soooooo happy if it could continue.
It's pretty easy to add people as posters and admins under Settings. It might be more work than one person could take on, but we could divvy it up.
Seven people, each responsible for one day per week? Posts can be future-dated, too, so if you're the Monday person and you have five great ideas, queue them up and forget about it for a month.
I'm up for one day per week, preferably not Monday or Wednesday, though.
Ann - I would completely be open to that!! I'd love to make this a group project.
I would definitely be willing to keep a day or two, and help people with their days - especially until school starts.
I have prereq classes to take, but enough time to help the site transition in a stable fashion.
Congratulations on getting accepted into grad school, Mira. What will you be studying?
As for the rest of you humans, what's the matter with you? This is a happy occasion for her!

I'll be studying in my field - Social Work - but it also ties into my writing.
I'm happy about this (although not looking forward to the 15 hour work days), but sad about the blog.
It was fun, but I haven't had much time to post here lately, let alone pull shift as admin.
My Public Query Slushpile blog (http://openquery.blogspot.com) takes a good chunk of free time.

It wouldn't be necessary to have a new discussion each day, would it? Three or four days per week would be adequate to keep it fresh, I think. Each person who agrees to help could specialize: Random Word Day, Random Quote Day, Picture Day, etc.

Congratulations, Mira! You've done a great thing for all us mixed= up beings here and it should go as credits toward a Social career for sure. Don't feel sorry, your future is important; and what wonderful grist for your writing mill!
I do hope we can keep our little community together. Being rather hopeless with computers (as you well know!) I won't offer to help or the whole blog would just blow up like Petunia's boobs, but I sure will support CIC. Send Mrs. Fettleston periodically to report on your progress. I am very fond of her.
