Instead of what he or she had been expecting, (girl scouts? the alien next door? a wizard with a few gnomes for tea?), there is a messenger with a very important letter for you. This letter has the potential to change your character's life.

Challenge: Changing the Plot

Since our characters and authors have both had such a fine time lately discussing each others' shortcomings, how about we get specific about what we'd change if we could?



Characters, how would you write the story, if you didn't have that pesky author interfering?

Authors, in what ways are the characters keeping you from crafting the novel you always dreamed of writing?

Challenge: Political exposition

Following the polite converstation at Ms. Fettleston's tea, let's talk about all the 'forbidden' topics. Yesterday was religion. Today, let's do politics.

First of all, what political system are you dealing with? Then secondly, do you agree with that system?

How do you think things should be run? If you were in charge, how would you set up the system? And if you are in charge, how do you plan to change things? Or is your role more to take things apart?

Either way, let's get political!
