Seeing is not only with the eyes. As I sit here . cross legged, in a corner of the SF airport I notice people glancing at me and, except for the children, looking quickly away. I think they see a tough, Goth girl doing her own independent thing, boldly traveling around the world with just her backpack. Does anyone see the scared kid whose never been anywhere by herself before?
Now look at that weirdo coming toward me. Staggering-drunk probably. Mental problems too...

I look fine - sometimes I even sound fine - sometimes I admit I hate my mother because she went and died.
It's amazing what you humans come up with sometimes. These pictures do, however, confirm something I've observed about the human race: you like to deceive yourselves.
