I made the decision to take my mother off life support.
I'm afraid I've never done anything brave. I greatly admire courage in others, though.

I didn't release my arrow once. It's why they all say I'm different. But maybe it's because I'm craven. I'm not really sure.
I left everything I ever knew and traveled 1400 miles on horseback to a place I'd only heard stories about. I was terrified. But I had never had a life of my own, and it was what I had to do.
A guy doesn't get many opportunities for real bravery in modern America. Before I met Kalila, I'd say I hadn't ever done anything brave because I didn't need to. Since then, I've done a lot of things, but they're probably more stupid than brave.
You saved my life, Ricky. That was brave.
I fell on you. It was an accident.
You still saved me, and you were very badly injured. You were brave when I healed you, too, although you don't remember. I didn't think it would be nice to let you remember so much pain.
