Fame! When we're children, it seems so appealing to be famous. Wouldn't it be great if everyone knew who we were and catered to us? But now that we're all grown up (are we?) how do we feel about fame?
Are you famous? If so, what do you like or dislike about it?
If you're not famous, would you want to be? Why or why not?
Let's talk about fame!

I don't want to be famous, but I would like to known in a subculture. Not like J.K. Rowling or Stephanie Meyers--for a list of reasons I won't go into now--but well-known by readers within my genre.
Famous? What is this 'fame' you speak of? My author says it means being known by lots of people. But known for what?
--just for being known? That seems rather redunant to me.
I agree with Galadriel.
He typed the words right out of my mouth. :)
Um...please look up Lord of the Rings--Galadriel is a woman.
Famous. Hate it.
Would definitely throw a kink in the works of clandestine activities if I became famous.
I had a girlfriend who was a lingere model, and her handler and some friends offered me some pretty sweet deals. But - nah, there's comfort in obscurity.
Besides, those I want to know my face already do. Some to their regret . .
Sure, I'd like to be famous! That'd show the blokes back home in London!Does famous mean rich too? I kinda think so. Never pick the cheapest thing on the menue, buy whatever CDs I want.Drive a cool car. Have people oohing and ahing over what I wore instead of laughing at it.
Whee! Yeah, I do want to be famous!
If I wanted to be famous, I probably wouldn't be living in a secret society, hundreds of feet below the earth.
