They say virtue is its own reward, but is it really? What does virtue mean to you? Are there any particular virtues you're most proud of? What admirable traits do you feel you lack or need to work on?
Would you bother being virtuous if no one were around to notice? What are your thoughts on virtue?

Yeah, I dunno. I'm half-demon after all. We're pretty well all liars and cheats no matter who's watching.
I call bullshit, Aidan. You'd die for anyone in your family. I've seen you run into battle first.
That's just cuz I think y'all can't handle it. I have to do EVERYTHING if I want it done right.
Uh huh.
Some girl said I should smile more. Is that a virtue?
Virtue? I guess I'm pretty honest - if that's a virtue. Now a virtuous woman sounds kind of prissy to me. Sitting there in a poke bonnet with pursed lips, crossed legs and a prayer book in her hands. I don't think I'd get on very well with anyone described as virtuous and don't ever aim to be that way myself.
OH, one thing - I never break a promise. Is that a virtue? Two's enough anyway.
Heh, when I saw the post, I thought I was about to be the Guest of Honor today and didn't even know it!
Virtues? They aren't really good for too much unless they are someone else's. Think about it: Being honest. That never gets YOU anything, it only helps the people you're talking to. How about generosity? You're just giving money away. Again, only good for the people that are getting your cash!
So, virtues? bah. Virtue? That's me. Virtue Almercy.
Wow, Virtue. How very, uh, candid of you.
As for me, I do try to be virtuous when I can - even when no one's looking - but what I consider virtuous might not be virtuous to others...
One little thing I do on a regular basis is pick up any trash I see. It might not sound like a lot, but I abhor littering - perhaps I have my dad to thank for that. He always taught me and my little brother that the earth is sacred... and it's one of many lessons that stuck with me.
Virtue, you sound like my kind of... well. Not sure what you are. But we could probably hang all right.
Nutmeg, I think picking up trash is very virtuous.
I think we tend to make more trash than we pick up. Hell, in casings alone...
We pick them up if we think it's going to leave a trail. So that's something, right?
Okay, so yeah. Does an act require good intention to be virtuous? Or can it be accidentally virtuous and still count?
Did you say something, Kae? I stopped listening about "Okay..."
I don't know about "counting" Kaelin. I mean, Armageddon has come and gone. I think keeping score is Old Era, yeah?
Word, Marc.
I think virtues are for losers and Scottish people.
Wow, Kay, tell us what you really think.
As for me, I think virtue really is its own reward... it feels good to be good. And not because someone's keeping a tally - which is good for me since I don't believe in an all-powerful Someone anyway.
Well Jesse, you go ahead and sit on your blanket and feel good being good.
I'll sit on a throne and feel good being rich and powerful. It feels good to be the one in control.
Aiden, come on over, we'll party a little.
Honestly, Virtue, that's fine with me. Blankets are more comfortable than thrones anyway.
Besides, control is an illusion - it can always be taken away...
