Well, the author has still been too busy, though I think he's trying. At least his wife finally came and checked out my third chapter. She really enjoyed the tech and world development, she said, but got bored when I was being chased by a bull! How can that be boring?? She claims I got over the fence and then used high tech to subdue it. Well, I guess that's true, but I mean come on, even Capt Kirk occasionally forgot he was armed! *sigh* I guess I'll be losing the bull chase scene. Wonder what he'll replace it with?
Sorry to hear that, Jax. I've got some better news, though. My second episode got posted on the website this week! As of Monday, I'm officially a serial. None of that frosted stuff, either. ;)
So, everybody come check out the new episode, and read the first one if you haven't. This second episode is a flashback. Takes me back to the time when I met my wife, in the early days of being a Nanite Chaser.
Well, seeing as I tripped over their rake and really hurt my leg, they've asked me to stay with them on the farm for a couple of days; My Great Aunt's old boyfriend is really out of it now, rambling on about nothing, but his grandson - well he is CUTE!
Candy girl, I can come help with your leg if you like, I'm a healer. Plus, if that farmboy is that cute, you're going to have to introduce me!
I wouldn't get too excited, Flutterby. Sounds like Candy might have designs on the grandson, too.
Absolutely nothing is happening around here. It is quite tedious.
That's ok, Nutmeg, I can still LOOK! Besides, maybe I can help her get him in the straw out in the barn! Wouldn't that be something? a multi-generational romance, Candy and the grandson of the love of her grandma!

Hey Flutterby, I 'm quite happy to have my leg stay sore for a while so long as it keeps me here. He plays the guitar too, and sings so sweetly, not at all like that rocker guy I lived with in London. He's really shy and innocent. Sort of makes me feel that way too.
I'm sure you're very nice but I'd appreciate it if you stayed well away for now.
