Their rooms at the fabulous Fictional Fantasy Lodge are waiting for them tonight. There will be hot tubs, huge, soft beds, massages and room service. Or, they can eat in the five-star restaurant run by Chef Christine Cuisine. It's all fictional, so it's absolutely free!

Will they make it, or will the ferocious flying vampire squirrels get them first? Stay tuned to find out!

Yawn! It looks like I'm the first one up. Wow, look at that sunrise!
I suppose I'll get up and make some coffee and biscuits for the others. Won't they be surpri- Oof!
Sorry, Nighfala!!! I didn't see you lying there.
(Just like my cat at home. Always lying where someone will trip on him.)
(rubbing eyes) Good morning, Ginger. Would you like some help? I'll stir up the fire- Oof!
Sorry, Nighfala!!! I didn't see you there.
(Just like my cat at home. Always lying where someone will stumble over her.)
Me-OW!
Aden Fath! I smelled your coffee all the way up on the ridge.
How are you this morning?
Oh. I see the twins are here. And Ricky. You ladies seem to be in excellent hands.
I should get back to my patrol.
Please stay, Captain. At least have some coffee before you go.
Very well, thank you, Ginger.
What a beautiful morning! Look at that sun through the trees! Those branches I broke off to sleep on were really comfortable. I feel a bit embarrassed for you to see me without my Goth makeup but I forgot to bring it.
Hey, I'm going to go find some blueberries and huckleberries to eat with the biscuits. Back soon! Wanna come, Nighfala?
Ah Faldur stay and have a cuppa.
I think youi look just as nice without the makeup, Candy.
I'm just going to take a look around. Aidan has that look again.
Not to alarm anybody but there is something... I'll just keep an arrow on the string in case.
I'm back! Where is everyone? I've got a whole bag of blueberries. They're so fat and juicy I couldn't resist eating as many as I could and now I suppose I have a purple face and teeth. I met a bear but he was stuffing on berries too and hardly noticed me.
C'mon, help yourselves, I knew you'd have travelled a while by the time I found you again but these'll make a refreshing break maybe?
Before we get going, if anyone is still sore from yesterday, let me know. I'll fix you right up!
Thanks, Nevin. And could you make me feel a little less tired, too? All those strange noises in the woods last night kept me up, and the coffee isn't helping much.
All right, everyone, we've been lollygagging around long enough. We'll never get to that lodge tonight at this rate!
Follow me! And keep those arrows ready, Anon. I think we might need them.
Down in the valley
The valley so low
I'm waiting over
Your head... Eek!
Crunch! Mmmm.
I shall pretend I did not see that.
(shudder)
I love watching nature at work. Bears eating blueberries, cats stalking bats. Just another day in the circle of life.
Today's as lovely as yesterday! Thanks again, Christine, for inviting us on this amazing hike.
I'm sorry that some of you were sore this morning, but Indigo and I were fine - perhaps that's because we're used to sleeping on the ground at this point.
Wow. We've been hiking for a while now. Wonder when we'll make it to the Fictional Fantasy Lodge. I could really use a massage and a dip in the hot tub.
Yeah, even though we have a hot tub at home, it somehow feels better when you're on vacation. And I could go for a nice glass of wine, too. It might be easier to get dehydrated in a hot tub when you toss alcohol into the mix, but my sore muscles really need it. I can always drink some more water before bedtime.
So, what do you think, Ginger? Does the restaurant offer wine, too, or is this a fancy booze-free retreat?
I've never experienced a professional massage before. Indigo and I give each other massages all the time, but I've never hired someone to do it. Glad it's free!
I've never stayed at a lodge before, much less had a professional massage. Been poor all my life - which isn't so bad, usually. When you have very little in the way of possessions, you learn to appreciate what's really important.
On the other hand, I take advantage of such opportunities as this whenever they come along.
Hey, what was that?! I think something's following us... could be Candy's bear from the blueberry patch. He probably smells the food we have. I'm glad I brought my knife along - and that Aidan, Marc, and Jason brought some weapons, too. Nighfala's claws might also come in handy.
Is Faldur still around? We should all be on the ready, just in case. Don't want things to go wrong now - just as we're nearing the lodge.
I'm here. I'm in the rear guard. My sword is ready.
Sorry, that was me. Forgot to sign my name. I'm a bit distracted.
It looks like all we have to do is cross this ravine and we're there. I can see the lights in the windows!
But the ravine is steep, and it's getting dark at the bottom. I don't like the thought of going down. But we might have to go around for more than a mile. What should we do?
I see the way, in the dark. Bear is coming. Hurry!
Nighfala's gone ahead. I think she wants us to follow, but she's so hard to see among the rocks.
That's why we call them "nightstalkers," Ginger.
Let me cast some lights. Here! Those little floating orbs will guide us. See, they float just ahead, showing the way.
I didn't know you could do that, Marenya!
Neither did I. What else haven't you told me?
Hurry! I hear the bear coming!
Single file everyone! Carefully! Aidan, can you go in front? Then Michael and Olivia. Next Candy. Then Indigo and Nutmeg. That's it. Watch your step.
Ricky, take Ginger. Nevin, you're next.
That leaves me last, then.
It leaves you with me. We can see in the dark better than they can.
And you've proven you can use a knife.
I wonder where Kaelin is?
I think they're starting up the other side. I can see the orbs ascending.
Go ahead of me, NOW! This is too steep for the bear to come down.
Slide if you have to.
I wouldn't have to if you didn't push so!
We're nearly at the top of the other side now, Faldur! I can see the bear and he doesn't look happy.
I hope Aidan has a clear shot.
Got him.
Sorry I left. I've been ranging. It looks clear so far, but you never know.
Good shot, bro.
Nice shot, Aidan! I hate seeing the death of such a majestic creature, but survival is a must.
Hooray! We've made it everyone! And just in time, too. The sun just went behind the mountains.
Hot tub, here I come!
Actually, we don't know that he's dead, Indy.
Yahoo, we made it! Mind if I join you in the hot tub, Ginger?
It's okay, Meg. Even if the bear's still alive, we made it to safety... let's join the others in the hot tub.
There goes a tasty rabbit!
Okay, Indy. You're the boss.
Yeah, right.
There goes Nighfala, chasing her dinner.
Sure, let's check in and change into our suits. I would love to wash all this dirt off in a bubbling hot tub. And then have some wine and one of those five star meals.
What's a hot tub?....Oh, my. Is that all you are wearing, Ginger?
(blush)
Oh, Heavens!
Oh, Heavens! I think it's time for me to leave. Enjoy yourselves, everyone.
(blush)
Marenya, I'll loan you something. Come on, enjoy yourself.
Indigo, Meg, Aidan, Kaelin... are you coming in?
We're coming. But no one said to bring swim trunks.
Kidding!!
Actually, I think I'm going to go in and sit by the fire.
Kae's shy of his scars. He really doenn't like taking his shirt off with everyone else around.
And his tats...
Yeah, he's kind of ahead of me in that.
Kaelin, do you mind if I sit with you? I'd rather not undress either.
Naturally, I'm thinking about food. What does everyone want for dinner? I wonder what the restaurant has. Probably anything!
Thanks for a great day everyone. Thanks for coming!
I hope you don't mind if I turn in early. I'm falling asleep in the hot water.
Enjoy the amenities here. It's all free! The restaurant, the hot tub, the starlit gardens, and your nice.. soft... (yawn)... beds.
What a pleasant weekend. Good company, great scenery! The hot tub was wonderful - and so was the dinner... but I'm not tired yet. Who's up for massages?
I'll go, Liv! I love Indigo's massages, but I'm excited to experience the "real" thing.
Say, Indigo, since the ladies are going to be occupied for a while, why don't we go grab a drink in the lounge?
Sounds good, Doc. But, afterward, I'm grabbing a massage, too. Can't pass that up!
Wow, I've never experienced anything like this before. All this luxury and people being nice. I don't feel like me at all!
I'm glad you enjoyed the weekend, Candy. Michael and I are glad we went, too.
