Social Weekend: The Circus!

It's been awhile since we just had some fun together.

Let's take all of our wild characters, pile in the car and head to the circus! Doesn't that sound like a blast! (And oddly appropriate...)

Okay, snacks first. Let's grab some popcorn and head to the big top.
So check out the show. Cool. Magic! Illusions!

Awwww......think I'll take this one home with me. So cute.....

So, what about you? What will you do at the circus! Join us - let's have leave the circus of CIC to go to a real one. Let's have some fun!

This is so exciting! I just love the circus!

I think I'll have some cotton candy.

Wow, I've never been to a circus! Those clowns are so cool! Hey, I'd like to be a clown. Maybe if i ever get out that's what I'll do. I'm gonna talk to that little guy over there and ask him how I train and stuff.
D'ya think he'll talk to me?
Hey, Nevin, I wonder if, well, ya see I don't have any money.not a cent, and I wonder if I could have just a taste of that cotton stuff you've got? Just a bite so's I can say I tasted the stuff.

Hi

I've never been to a cicus, either.

I like the monkeys. They're funny.

Gabby, my mom gave me money. I'll buy you some.

Gabby, you can ask me for anything. I can conjure, you know, although Ricky says that sometimes it's not appropriate. Like the cotton candy. I conjured money instead and bought it. If Shadow doesn't have enough money, I'll buy you some.

I want to meet those contortionists. I wonder what they're doing after the show?

Gabby said...

Thanks, Shadow. It's really good! Got it all over my face though and in my hair. Hey, so have you! Funny. Let's see if we can ride on an elephant. We can pretend to be rajahs. I saw that in a comic book once.

Wanna come with us Nevin?. You'd make a super Rajah. Y'know Bo's goin to be disappointed cause I peeked in the contortionist's dressing room and they're all men! They were naked so I'm sure. Wouldn't guess it with all that makeup though. Maybe they don't quite know, themselves.

My life is a circus! I'm in a circus all the time!

Humans never stop surprising me at the odd variety of things they find entertaining.

Quit staring at the women in those skimpy costumes, Ricky.

Ricky said...

I wasn't staring! I was just wondering how they keep from falling off the high wire.

Hi everyone, I just managed to get here. Wow, it's so exciting! Look at those beautiful horses with the plumes on their heads! When I was a kid a circus used to come to our village. I made "friends" with one of the carny guys. I guess he was a gypsy, dark skin and very light eyes. It broke my heart when he left town in just a couple of days. I pined for months, or until I saw the new postman anyway.
The lions sure make a noise. I wonder what they'd do if someone let them loose.

I don't see how they do that wire walking - even when it's low.
And the smiling... that's gotta hurt more than the falling and the cheesegrater line that costume's cutting up that girl's butt cheeks.

I go to circus.

I bring bombs. I blow up clowns.

Don't like clowns.

Bo said...

Hey, everyone, I just got back from visiting one of those cute trapeze artists in her dressing room. What did I miss?

Ricky said...

What a shame you didn't visit the lion cages, instead.

Bo said...

Why, Ricky? Are they fun, too?

Ricky said...

I wouldn't know. Just shut up and watch the clowns, would you?

Kalila said...

Ricky, I don't understand the purpose behind the clowns. They seem very silly.

Ricky said...

That's exactly the purpose, Kalila.

Kalila said...

Humans are so strange.

Lol

Pass the popcorn, please.

Wonder what it would be like to fight one of the tigers. That whip reminds me of my cage fighting days.

Anonymous said...

Pretty sure that tiger would kick your ass Kae.
Gods below its noisy in here.
Dunno how long I can stay.-
Aidan.

Someone should slay those lions and tigers before they attack someone.

My goodness, those horses are big! I'm awed by anyone who can ride them. We ride dories. They're much smaller.
