Getting to Know You: Comfort Food
We've all had those days. A tough day on the job has got us down, family is on our case, and it seems like the whole world is spinning out of control.

MRE fig bars. They are the best thing. (Also, holy cats, I'm back!)
Type O is my favorite, but every now and then I get a craving for B-negative. It holds special memories for me.
I think I'll say mash potatoes. I play with it and shape it, that is as much fun as eating. G-Unc Will makes smell-worthy mash.

Bread and milk. weird but when i was a kid, for punishment. my mum would pack me off to my room without supper. Later she'd send up a bowl of bread and milk. I guess I was so hungry by then it tasted terrific and since then it has been my comfort food.
By the way, at that time I told myself that a swift spanking was the only good punishment. That way it was over with, I didn't want a repeat, and I didn't spend ages in my room brooding on how to get back at "them".

I don't have time to be in character today, so I'm just posting quickly as myself.
Marenya's favorite comfort food is something I've dubbed "cloud pie" which is kind of like a cross between quiche and sheperd's pie. A cheese/egg combination with mashed potatos on top. I need to play around in the kitchen and develop a recipe, as I'd like to put it in the book.
Candy, I remember having bread and milk a couple of times when my grandparents were watching me and my sister, as kids. We thought it was so wierd, and cool, to eat that!
Red licorice. The girl next door has been writing to me here in Iraq and she sends it to me. Love that girl!

My favorite food is pizza with pepperoni and hamburger meat. With extra tomato souce. I love going to cici's. I feel that pizza should be served everyday. It is the best food ever. When I eat it my taste buds tingle. I make the pizza into a taco and eat them. It helps me to eat fast so I can eat even more. I some times savor the moment of the pizza when I taste it. Pizza is the best.

My favorite food is wing stop lemon pepper flavor.It copetes greatly with the double quarter pounder with medium fries and mediun Dr Pepper.My mom takes me to resturants almost every day she probably wants me to get fatter even though I weigh under 80 pounds.She is a great cook though,and my favorite mexican food is my mom's enchiladas and chiles reillenos.

i think i like potatoes.because i play with them and eat them at the same time

I think i like tomatos because i can smash them and play with them has they were balls of fire.also i can eat them with salt or make salsa of it to eat chips with limon.
