So, let’s fess up. What are some of the naughtiest things you’ve ever done?
For instance, have you ever teased an animal?

Have you ever swiped fruit from someone else’s property?

Have you ever been somewhere you shouldn’t have? (I’m talking to you, Buddy.)

Have you ever misbehaved in a church – or an equally sacred place?

Come on, everyone! It’s time to share your high jinks and shenanigans with the rest of the class.

Arf! Arf! How rude. Arf! Arf!
I think what Buddy's trying to say is... "whatever do you mean, dear author? When have I ever been where I don't belong?"
Of course, we both know how hard it is to clean you off every time you bolt into the gulf, don't we, boy?
Arf! Arf! Teehee. Arf! Arf!
Buddy's so cute... and naughty. Sometimes, I wish I had a beagle - but it's tough having dogs on the road.
Oh, I disagree. The road is a perfect place for a dog. He'd get exercise every day, and be great for protection. Well, maybe not a scaredy cat beagle like Buddy, but you know what I mean.
Arf! Arf! Hey! Arf! Arf!
Oops. We got a little sidetracked there... mischief, huh?
Well, I'll admit to being a bit naughty. Of course, my dad would probably say that running away from home at seventeen is a bit more than naughty.
Don't feel bad, Meg. When I was thirteen, I ran away from my family, too. But I don't regret it - I wouldn't have discovered Ruby Hollow if I hadn't.
My younger brother was the mischief maker in out family. He liked to pop into Gran's pantry and steal cookies.
My older brother and I once switched out the cookies with MilkBones, just to get him once. We laughed, he pouted and in the end Gran sent all three of us to our rooms for a weekend.
But I heard her laughing.
That's hilarious, Raven! Little brothers are so much fun to tease.
Mischief huh?
I cut school on day and spent the afternoon at a friends house; smoking weed and drinking. One guy was so out of it, we shaved his legs and it didn't even phase him.
I stole a car, went joy riding. Wound up in juvy for that one.
Good thing I did though or I'd never met Cal.
Oh Heavens! I never get into mischief. I don't like to get into trouble.
I should've expected that Cal and Robert would have some good mischief-making stories. But, wow, you two are hard-core!
Sorry, my author is too busy to let me out to play for a few days. No mischief - all work!
See you soon!
Okay. Hang in there, Candy!
